These M3 TC4 titanium button head screws use the same Ti-6Al-4V family of alloy trusted in aerospace applications: high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and a clean premium finish without the weight penalty of steel.

Strength comparison vs our YSF 12.9 steel hardware:
- TC4 / Ti-6Al-4V titanium is published around 900-950 MPa ultimate tensile strength
- Class 12.9 steel is published around 1220 MPa ultimate tensile strength
- So yes: 12.9 steel wins on raw absolute tensile strength
- But titanium is roughly 42-44% lower density than steel, giving it an approximately 31-35% better strength-to-weight ratio
What that means on a real FPV build: if your only goal is maximum absolute bolt strength per dollar, 12.9 steel is the brute-force choice. If you want premium hardware that is still seriously strong while cutting weight and resisting corrosion, TC4 titanium is the better upgrade.
