Description
Designed for FPV racing, the HDZero Race V3 VTX is our 3rd generation digital video transmitter. With a voltage range starting at 4V, it can be powered by the 5V 1.5A regulator of most FC’s or up to 12V for FC’s that include a HD VTX plug. It is small (28x32x5mm) and light (5.5 grams). With a width of only 28mm, the VTX is now a similar width to many FC's, which improves durability and reduces weight. The antenna is securely attached with a metal bar and screws. No soldering needed – just plug the wire harness into a compatible HD-ready FC.
The HDZero Race V3 VTX is designed with durability in mind, rather than weight. It is made with a 1.6mm thick PCB, in comparison to the 1.0mm PCB used in the Whoop lite VTX. Moreover, it uses more large package size components for stability consideration. For the smaller components, an additional glue coating is applied to increase crash protection. The Race V3 VTX also has a reverse polarity protection circuit, which is not present in the Whoop lite VTX.
The HDZero Race V3 VTX offers high-quality video in 540p90, 720p60 and 1080p30 resolutions with 25/200mW switchable power on 5.8GHz.

Shipping policy
Processing
Orders ship within 1–2 business days (excluding weekends, US holidays, and posted vacation dates). You receive a confirmation email with tracking once your order ships.
Rates and delivery
- US orders of $99 or more ship free (Standard).
- Standard (US): 3–7 business days. Expedited (US): 1–3 business days.
- International: 7–14 business days depending on destination and carrier; rates are calculated at checkout.
Restrictions
- We ship to selected countries only; availability is shown at checkout.
- No P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
- Batteries ship by ground only and cannot be shipped outside the US. The DinDrones battery box with batteries is US-only.
Lost or damaged shipments
Contact din@dindrones.com within 7 days of the delivery date. We open the carrier claim and resolve it with you.
Changes and cancellations
Orders can be changed or cancelled within 24 hours of placement. After that, the order has usually been packed; use the return policy instead.
Customs and duties
International customers are responsible for any customs fees, taxes, or duties charged on import.
Refund policy
30-day returns
Unused items in original condition and packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Email din@dindrones.com with your order number to get return instructions before shipping anything back.
What is not returnable
- Frames, parts, or electronics that have been built, flown, soldered, or crashed.
- Batteries and other hazmat items, once shipped.
- Custom or 3D-printed items made to order.
Refunds
Refunds go to the original payment method within 5 business days of receiving and inspecting the return. Original shipping charges are not refunded; return shipping is paid by the customer unless the item arrived damaged or we shipped the wrong item.
Defective or wrong items
If a part is defective on arrival or we sent the wrong item, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we replace it or refund it at our cost.
